Absolute from the lichen Evernia prunastri harvested on oak trees. Earthy, forest-floor, inky. Defines the chypre accord (bergamot + oakmoss + labdanum). Heavily restricted by IFRA since 2008, which forced reformulation of nearly every classical chypre.
