   An animalic honeyed leather on a high dose of civet, the rare mainstream masculine launch to lean entirely into the polarising love-it-or-hate-it register.

   Yves Saint Laurent drew on a trip to Greece, the blue of the sea and sky, and the marble of ancient statuary. The name refers to the kouroi, archaic Greek sculptures of nude youthful male figures.

   Presented in a tall white-and-grey rectangular flacon evoking a Greek stele, with a stepped silver collar.

4. 04

   Composed by Pierre Bourdon in 1981 around aldehydes, tarragon and clary sage over a civet-honey-leather base.
